Missing Person: Sukhvinder Singh 33 years of age.
BP Gas Station Attendant
104 White Horse Pike, Waterford
The Winslow Township Police Department is currently conducting a missing persons investigation in an attempt to locate Sukhvinder Singh.
He is employed as a gas attendant at the BP Gas Station located on the White Horse Pike in the Waterford Section of Winslow Township. Singh was last seen at the BP Station on 09/18/2012 at approximately 7:30 pm. He is described as being an Indian male of middle eastern decent, 5-07 tall, 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a blue turban, blue & red shirt, black pants, black sneakers, and a silver bracelet. His location and or possible destination is unknown at this time.
This investigation is ongoing and we are asking for the public's help in locating Singh. If anyone has information in regards to his whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Winslow Township Police Department at 609-561-3300 or your local authorities immediately.

Burglary / Car Theft

Location: Unit Block of Summer Dr, Sherry Lyn Woods, Cedar Brook NJ
On 7-17-2012 at approximately 1:00 am, Winslow Township Police were dispatched to a home located on Summer Dr located in the Sherry Lyn Development for a report of a burglary in progress. The residents were inside the home at the time. They were woken when they heard noise downstairs. It was at this time they realized there was someone in their home. The accused, along with a juvenile located the victims car key. They stole the victim's car from their garage.
Officers immediately responded to the victims call for help. The responding officers saw the fleeing car. The accused tried to elude the officers. The accused while attempting to flee the police turned down a dead end street.
All four accused were arrested and charged with burglary and theft.
The adults were remanded to Camden County Jail in default of $50,000 full cash bail.
The juvenile was remanded to Camden County Juvenile Detention Center.

Possession of CDS

On 04/26/2012 at approximately 02:50 hours, an officer was conducting patrol in the area of Cross Keys Road and Watsontown Rd. The officer saw a 4 door silver Lexus attempt to make a right hand turn in front of his patrol vehicle. The driver of the car, David Garrity, could not navigate the turn and had a difficult time controlling the car during the turn because his dog "Teddy" was sitting on his lap.
The officer stopped the car to initially to find out why "Teddy" was interfering with David's driving. The car was stopped on Park Ave, just off Watsontown Road.
The investigation revealed that the passenger Shaun Garrity was wanted on outstanding warrants. Upon taking Shaun out of the car, a pill was discovered on the floor. After securing Shaun, David, the driver gave written consent to search the car further.
A further search revealed several narcotic pills inside the car. Morphine Sulfate, Alprazolam and 63 Oxycodone pills. Additionally 3 hypodermic syringes were also discovered.
Both David and Shaun were placed under arrest for the drug possession. "Teddy" was not taken into custody and released at the scene. He was tuned over to a caretaker.
David and Shaun were transported to headquarters where they were both charged with drug possession. David was released on a summons pending a court hearing in Superior Court. Shaun was also processed on the drug charges, however he was sent to the Camden County Jail on the outstanding warrants with a total bail amount of $6575.00.

Motor Vehicle Crash

On 04/26/2012 at approximately 12:39 am, a vehicle was travelling east on Cr 706. (Erial Road) The vehicle, a 2002 Dodge Neon left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The utility pole snapped in half. The car came to rest on top the the bottom portion of the snapped pole. The driver was not injured in the crash. He was checked by Winslow Township EMS and refused any further treatment.
Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana. He was arrested for same and transported to police headquarters. He was processed and released on a summons pending a court hearing.

Motor Vehicle Crash

Location: Sicklerville Road (CR705)
A vehicle traveling north on Sickerville Road crossed over the centerline of the roadway and struck the rear tires of a tractor trailer traveling south on Sicklerville Road. The driver of the car had to be cut from the vehicle by members of the Winslow Township Fire Department.
Once the driver was freed from the wreckage, he was transported to Cooper Hospital in Camden by helicopter. The driver was treated for his injuries and released.
The tractor trailer driver was not injured in the crash.

Possession of Handgun / Possession of Heroin

On 04/18/2012 at approximately 01:02 pm, Matthew Willford was at Winslow Township Court for a drug possession charge. His girlfriend, Debra Bender-Segletes waited outside the courtroom. Once the court appearance was complete, the two were reunited and exited Court hand in hand.
Once outside, they walked across the parking lot of the municipal complex and sat down behind a clothing donation bin and began to inject themselves with heroin. While they were injecting themselves with the heroine, a police officer entered the parkinglot and saw this suspicious activity. The officer met with both Debra and Matthew who were found to be in possession of heroin along with a hypodermic syringe. Both were placed under arrest.
As the investigation continued, it was also discovered that they were also in possession of two handguns that were stolen during a burglary in Hamilton Twp., prescription pills, and marijuana.
Matthew was also listed as acertain person not to possess weapons.
Both Matthew and Debra were charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe, possession of prescription pills, and possession of marijuana.
After processing both Debra and Matthew were remanded to the Camden County Jail in default of $100,000 dollars full cash bail.

HOUSE FIRE/ MARIJUANA GROW

Location: Drexel Court, Sicklerville, NJ
On 04/16/2012 at 01:58 am, a motorist flagged down a Winslow Twp officer advising he saw flames from Drexel Gate Developement located in the Sicklerville, Winslow Twp. Officers located a residence on Drexel Court that was on fire. The residents were awakened by the responding police officers and evacuated safely.
While the fire department was investigating the fire they located an indoor marijuana grow in the basement of the residence.
Police recovered 38 marijuana plants and 192 grams of marijuana.
Roderick Farrar was charged with maintaining an indoor marijuana grown and possession of marijuana and sent to the Camden County Jail in default of $25,000 bail.

House Fire

Location: 100 Block of Cedar Brook Road, Cedar Brook, NJ
On 04/10/2012 at approximately 4:28 pm, Winslow Township Police were dispatched to a house fire located in the 100 block of Cedar Brook Road.
The initial reports stated the resident was trapped inside. Upon the police arrival, they located the resident along with her 3 year old daughter outside. It was confirmed at the scene that no others were trapped inside.
The adult female resident was flown to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia by New Jersey State Police Medivac Services. The 3 year old child was taken to Virtua Hospital for observation.
A Winslow Township Fireman suffered minor burns to his hand and was taken to Virtua Hospital for treatment.
The fire is under investigation by Winslow Township Police Department, Camden County Fire Marshall and Camden County Prosecutors Office.
